In the early part of the 19th century, trappers probed the majestic western mountains In search of beaver streams. Operating in a territory larger than many European countries, they traveled countless miles on horseback, without maps or guides, using the natural features of the land itself to keep their bearings. The shorter days and frosty nights have transformed the landscape around them as this group of trappers moves down stream, along cottonwood creek. - Kyle Carroll |
